By plane to Granada

The airport of Granada is called Federico Garcia Lorca Granada-Jaen, and has almost only national flights. It is well connected to Madrid and Barcelona, with several flights per day.

How to get to/from Granada from/to Granada airport

After the arrival of each plane, there is a bus connection to the city centre (~3 EUR). The stop Gran Via de Colon, Catedral, is the closest one to the venue of the school and to the accommodation for the participants and speakers (~15 min walking or bus). Taxi fares from the Airport to the city centre are around 30-35 EUR.

By plane to Malaga

Malaga is the closest international airport to Granada, and there are many direct flights to several european cities. Malaga airport is 125 km away from Granada and it takes about 90 minutes to drive from Malaga to Granada.

How to get to/from Granada from/to Malaga airport

There two options using public buses:

- Many times per day there is a direct bus from Malaga airport to Granada. This takes normally 2 hours 15 minutes. They are run by the company ALSA, and the cost is around 13 EUR. Same for Granada to malaga airport.

- Take a bus from the airport to Malaga bus station (they run every 30 minutes, and it costs around 3 EUR) and from there take a bus to Granada. There are buses Malaga-Granada and vice versa running almost every hour (from 7:00 am to 21:30). The cost is around 13 EUR.

In both cases, the arrival is to Granada coach station, which is located at:
Estacion de autobuses de Granada
Carretera de Jaen s/n,
18014, Granada

To get to the workshop venue, you can take the public bus line 33 directly outside the bus station to Gran Via, which will leave you 10 min away from both the school venue (Carmen de la Victoria) and the student accomodation.
